This gorgeous Frazer Nash is the latest entry into the SAHGP Festival. It is one of only two Frazer Nashes to ever be entered into a Grand Prix.
It was used by LG Williamson in the 1934 SA Grand Prix but early in the race he left the circuit at the banked Leach's Bay turn and landed up in the valley below, which was carpeted with Prickly Pear trees. He spent the next two days in hospital being attended by two nurses who spent all their time removing hundreds of thorns from his body.
The car has just been beautifully restored and will be ready for racing in South Africa in November next year.
